Install Ubuntu 9.04 via Wubi = Install Inside Windows

A simple way to install Ubuntu on your PC.

Since released on Hardy Heron, Ubuntu embedded with Wubi, so you can install Ubuntu inside your Windows.
And here's the easy steps

First, download your Ubuntu. The latest release is Jaunty Jackalope. You can direct download it from Ubuntu's official page here, and don't forget to choose your nearest location.
Even though the Ubuntu installer is on ISO, but you don't need to burn it into CD, just use Daemon Tools. Daemon Tools is free and easy to use, it will make u a virtual disc. But i won't explain about Daemon Tools right here.
Go download Daemon Tools here.
After you download Daemon Tools, please install it.
Daemon Tools runs on your toolbar, right click on Daemon Tools icon, select Virtual CD / DCD-ROM ----> Device ---> Mount Image
Select your UBUNTU ISO file directory
After you mount the ISO file, you can check your new disc driver on My Computer. There will be new drive, that's the virtual disc made by Daemon Tools.
Just click the Ubuntu drive, and you will see this windows :

Let's start to install your Ubuntu with Wubi *sorry i can't post the screenshots because i've installed Ubuntu, so Wubi detected it*. But the steps still easy . You just choose username, password, language and how much size that you will use (max 30 GB).
Uninstall Ubuntu is like uninstall standard programs on Windows, just go to Add/Remove Programs, and uninstall Ubuntu.

I just did this on my Windows XP machine. The Ubuntu installation program told me to restart the computer, which I did. Ubuntu seems to be installed on C:, but I doesn't appear in my programs. How do I launch it?

What the hell? I don't understand this. When I run my 9.04 CD, there is no option to install inside Windows. Seriously, what the hell?

i dont use CD, i just use ISO file,
if u use CD, maybe it will do full installation on booting

hahaha, The easiest way is to download and install "wubi" and read this "http://releases.ubuntu.com/9.04/" so you can install you ubuntu 9.04 offline inside windows (that's the wubi manual).
